Day 1 (cont'd): The Apartment

After exiting the station we had to walk a few minutes to the apartment. In order to get there, we crossed a bridge that crosses over the Sumida River. On the other side of the bridge we could see the huge Asahi tower with its giant golden "flame". We had to cross a few different crossing so we made sure to wait for the little green walking man to appear before doing so. They drive on the opposite side of the road here and that can mess with your head. We found the apartment and were able to take the "elevator" up to the second floor. This elevator is about 4x4, it is very tiny. 

The apartment is great:
